I’ve been practicing martial arts for a total of 18 years. I hold three black belts: 1st Degree in Tang Soo Do, 1st Degree in Goju-Ryu Karate, and 2nd Degree in Shotokan Karate. Additionally, I have ranks in Kickboxing and BJJ. Over the past 15 years, I’ve competed internationally in sport karate, winning numerous state, national, and world titles. Currently, I represent and coach the USA Martial Arts Team and am also signed with Team Riyoshi International, a professional karate team.
The proudest moment of my martial arts career was winning four gold medals for the USA National Team at the World Martial Arts Games in 2023. As an instructor, my goal is to use my achievements to motivate and inspire my students. I aim to instill in them the mindset that if I can do it, anyone can. My ultimate aspiration is not for my students to be like me, but to surpass me.
