Sensei Sarah Basco

Sensei Sarah has been with Martial Arts University for eighteen years, joining when she was 14 years old. She has achieved the rank of third degree black belt in Street Defense, meaning not only is she a third degree Karate black belt, but also a black belt in police tactics self defense and has high rank in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA, and Judo. She also has experience in Kali, Weapons, and Capoeira! Sensei Sarah has been in two amateur cage fights as well as multiple Karate tournaments. She was the 2016 Florida State Champion in the Blitz Sport Karate Circuit for both Traditional Kata and Point Sparring. She loves teaching martial arts to kids, teens, and adults and her favorite part is seeing all her students grow to be strong independent men and women.
